have been fooling around with my 828-416-8B/JBL 2445J-2385birad/N501-8A/eq 30904
and I must say that right "out of the box" they sound very nice.:2thumbsup:

of course at the present lvl, they lack my "bloodtrimmed" Avangarde Trio?s lvl of resolution and transparency,but they?ve definitely got something
imaging is actually more stable and solid
whether it?s charming box resonances or the fact that it?s a 2-way, I don?t know,but it sure encourages me to pursue the idea of copying a Hiraga A-5 setup with the exact drivers,horns,wings x/o and all
a speakerbuilding carpenter friend has voluntered to build an exact 825 cab in 24mm plywood to solve the resonance bit
will be back when I?ve tested the 299-16 Mantaray top
